What you gonna feel when you give a flowers to someone and just in front of you she give it away to someone.?

I gave a flower to my boss for her birthday and at same day is also her friends birthday she just change the card and give it to her in front of me,

What you gonna feel when you give a flowers to someone and just in front of you she give it away to someone.?
I%26#039;d probably feel a bit insulted if she did it directly in front of me. What she does with it behind my back is none of my business but at least have the tact to give it away when I%26#039;m not looking.
Reply:I%26#039;d feel I had a rude, insensitive boss and would never ever give her a gift again.
Reply:What an ungrateful creep and cheapskate,

and what an insult!

I would start looking for another job.
Reply:I would feel hurt like you do. On the other hand, the silly woman forgot to get her own friend a birthday present and YOU rescued her! Way to go!
Reply:What a bit*h! I think I%26#039;d pour the juice from a tuna can in her desk garbage pail REAL soon!
Reply:VERY technically, once you give someone a GIFT, it is THEIRS to do with as THEY wish.... So, TECHNICALLY, your boss had every right to do with them as she pleased.

HOWEVER.... while etiquette sometimes deals with technical stuff, it also deals with the feelings of others, which is a whole lot LESS technical!

Your boss was, at best, %26quot;insensitive%26quot; to your feelings by doing what she did right in front of you. I am just wondering how your boss %26quot;changed%26quot; the card without having it look like some %26quot;secondary thought%26quot; to the other person who received it... I mean, if I got flowers with a card that said, %26quot;Mary Katherine (Katherine being CROSSED OUT), Happy Birthday Anniversary (with BIRTHDAY being crossed out), From, Wendy Hilde (and Hilde is crossed out!)... now THAT%26#039;s gross!

As for your feelings, yes, you should feel hurt by her insensitivity. Is this typical of her behavior? Might you start looking for a new job with a better boss?

Have a polite day.

I would feel so sorry for myself, and ask %26quot; Why did I even bother to give flowers to this *****?%26quot;
Reply:that is what i call ungrateful b****. if she didn%26#039;t want them she should of said so. that is straight up rude
